"Met Carlos on 9/11 in the Alfama area of Lisbon. We walked and explored quaint little streets and and neighborhoods. Carlos was always pointing
out interesting things to photograph. We also got very close to the colorful tram cars, so much fun and challenge to capture a nice image of them.
Carlos was fun and engaging to spend a few hours with, He gave me a good start to my photography adventure in Portugal. At the end of the tour he
took me to a shop where we enjoyed some Ginga, the Cherry Liquor! I highly recommend meeting with Carlos if you want to learn about great photo
opportunities in Lisbon!"

lighting at different times of the day and had great pointers (e.g., "try a shot where you angle your camera to run the railing up to the door" or
"look at the alignment of the steps to the shadows," or "align the Vespa, the tree, and the street light" etc.) to create perfect shots. In

"I scheduled this tour for the second day of my Lisbon trip, and I'm so glad that I did! Carlos, being a local, told me very interesting
historical and some personal stories about the city and the area. Carlos asked me about my experience with photography and my interest to cater as
much as possible to what I wanted to take pictures of. His attention to detail made me appreciate photography more and helped me improve my
photos. I started with my Nikon J1 but mostly took pictures with my phone. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in improving their

"I had an excellent day with Carlos, walking around Lisbon taking photos. While I consider myself a good photographer, Carlos really helped me
with my composition. Also, I felt comfortable bringing along my new travel tripod and taking some low light shots using the tripod. Carlos is very
friendly and responsive, he listens to what I was trying to achieve and learn, and he structured the tour around my needs. I never felt rushed to
move on to the next location. If you are serious about taking better pictures, invest in your hobby by getting coached by a professional like

"My Tour of Old Town Lisbon was simply wonderful. It was exactly what I was wanting. Our guide took us to out of the way places that not are
usually seen by the general touring public. He also offer suggestions on where to take pictures, how to take them, the perfect angle to get the

do anything at all. We soon decided to make the best of it and looked up Carlos. He was available last minute and took pictures and gave us a tour
of Lisbon with 2 hour notice. He was the saving grace of our Lisbon experience. He even tried to help us find our phone after we departed

"Carlos provided my interested 11 yr old son with much more than the mechanics of how to or where to shot from - he gave him age and person
appropriate challenges and met my son exactly where he was in terms of interest and growth. Quite quickly into the time together Carlos felt like
a friend helping out than a guide but the whole time - at every moment - he was consistently working at ensuring my son got all that he could in
terms of photography and my son really appreciated Carlos as did I. At the end he continued to support our interest in taking in a Fado show and
we just couldn’t have been happier to meet and learn with Carlos. It was a wonderful experience and he made Lisbon feel like a wonderful place to
us - even after a stressful day of very nearly being pickpocketed on the 28 tram. The day really turned around in the company and fabulous focus
